Italy is a wonderful country. Rich in history, art, culture, food, landscape. But it has a very serious illness: use of the land. A cancer that progresses every day, at a rate of almost 250 000 hectares per year. Since 1950, an area as large as the entire northern Italy has been buried under concrete. The limit of no return, beyond which the ecosystem Italy is no longer able to reproduce itself is getting closer. But no one cares. Fertile agricultural plains, romantic coastlines, charming mountain slopes harmonious curves and hills, are routinely subjected to threats, attacks and the invasion of concrete mixers, drills, bulldozers and asphalt monsters. There is no corner of Italy where there is at least one project-based concrete cast: urban planning and real estate speculation, residential and industrial; shopping centers and logistics; major highway and railway works, ports and airports, tourism, civil and military. You can not go on like this! The nature, earth, water resources are not infinite.
